The Lost Kingdom: Banda Sea & The Spice Islands

Diving the Epicenter of World History

Centuries ago, the world fought for the tiny Banda Islands—the only source of nutmeg on Earth. Today, the battle is over, leaving behind a hauntingly beautiful landscape where ancient Dutch forts overlook crystal-clear waters and active volcanoes rise from the deep. Below the surface, the Banda Sea offers a prehistoric scale of marine life.

From the famous “Lava Flow” where corals grow at triple speed to the deep blue ridges where schooling Hammerhead Sharks emerge from the abyss, Banda is a destination for the true explorer. With Indonesia Sport Journey, we take you to the furthest reaches of the Maluku archipelago for a voyage through history and the deep.

Journey to the Edge of the Abyss.

Explore the world’s most pristine coral gardens and witness the legendary schooling Hammerheads. Indonesia Sport Journey leads you on a colonial-history and deep-sea odyssey in the Banda Sea.
