Itinerary: The Panoramic Ridge Expedition

02:00 AM – 03:00 AM: Arrival & Briefing

• Private pickup from your hotel (Ubud, Canggu, or Kintamani area).
• Arrival at the base of Trunyan Village (Eastern shore of Lake Batur).
• Technical Briefing: Distribution of trekking poles, headlamps, and a brief overview of the ridge-line path.

03:30 AM – 05:45 AM: The Ascent (The Vertical Savanna)

• The Trek: Unlike the volcanic ash of Batur, Trunyan offers a lush, grassy trail. The path is steep but rewarding, taking you through local farms and high-altitude savannas.
• The Challenge: Navigating the final ridge. Feel the cool mountain breeze as you walk along the “Dragon’s Back” toward the summit.

06:00 AM – 07:30 AM: The Golden Hour (The Triple Peak View)

• The Summit: Stand at 1,887 meters above sea level.
• The Highlight: Watch the sun rise directly behind Mount Rinjani (Lombok) in the distance. To your right, the massive silhouette of Mount Agung dominates the horizon, while to your left, you look down into the smoking crater of Mount Batur.
• Breakfast: Enjoy a light summit breakfast with hot Balinese coffee/tea prepared by our guides.

08:00 AM – 10:00 AM: The Descent & Lake Views

• The Path Down: A scenic descent with constant views of Lake Batur below.
• Photography: This is the best time to capture the “Sea of Clouds” that often lingers in the caldera.

10:30 AM: Post-Hike Recovery (Natural Hot Springs)

• Optional stop at the Batur Natural Hot Springs. Soak your muscles in volcanic heated pools while overlooking the lake you just viewed from the clouds.

12:00 PM: Journey Conclusion

• Private transfer back to your hotel. End of Expedition.
