The Jatiluwih – Tanah Lot Coastal MTB Journey

This mountain bike journey takes you through one of Bali’s most breathtaking landscapes, home to the largest and most picturesque rice terraces in the island, and possibly all of Indonesia. Riding through the UNESCO listed Jatiluwih Rice Terraces, you’ll cycle past endless paddies, swaying palm trees, and lush green forests, fully immersed in the natural beauty of Bali’s countryside.

After a short rest stop in the village of Jatiluwih, the route continues mostly downhill, allowing you to relax into the flow of the ride while enjoying the scenery. The tour finishes at the coast near Tanah Lot, where the dramatic ocean views create a stunning and rewarding end to the journey.

This tour includes the support of a knowledgeable tour leader, a quality mountain bike and helmet, as well as fresh fruit, drinking water, and isotonic drinks to keep you energized throughout the ride. The experience is available for a minimum of one rider, and solo bookings are welcome, with new departures confirmed when reservations are made a few days in advance.

Accommodation and pick-up

For accommodation, we recommend staying in the Kuta, Legian, Seminyak, Jimbaran, or Nusa Dua areas, as these areas are the most convenient from a logistically standpoint. If you are staying out from the list or farther away we can still pick you up, but it would be better if you discuss with us before and his may be subject to a surcharge.

Then for pick-up and departure points, our team offers pick-up to the departure point from where you are staying (hotel, villa, etc.)
